Team building – Rally discovery in Colmar

Set off in search of clues in the picturesque neighbourhood of “La Petite Venise”, amongst the traditional half-timbered houses in Colmar, the birthplace of Auguste Bartholdi!

objectives

  • Strengthen team cohesion: Your teams coordinate, communicate and support one another to achieve a common goal, in a positive and stimulating atmosphere.
  • Develop skills: Rotating leadership, time management and decision-making are called upon at every stage.
  • Making the most of everyone’s strengths: The variety of challenges allows everyone to flourish, whether they are strategists, observers, communicators or analysts.
  • Creating shared memories: A memorable experience that enriches the corporate culture long after the event has ended.
  • Discover Alsace in a new light: The local heritage and anecdotes bring the adventure to life.

principle

  • Each team is given a roadbook in the form of an 8-page booklet setting out a specific route. As they explore each street, they are presented with observation questions, historical information about must-see landmarks and anecdotes about famous figures.

PROCESS

  • Welcome and introduction: Our experienced facilitator introduces the history of the town and explains the rules of the game.
  • Team formation: Teams of between 5 and 10 participants, depending on your preference, to encourage interaction, with the same scavenger hunt for all teams but different routes to prevent them from following one another.
  • Self-guided participation: A helpline is available to provide assistance if required.
  • Debriefing and impact: A review of performance and team rankings to extend the benefits within your organisation.
  • Gifts and socialising: Gingerbread for all participants and a bottle of Alsace wine from a local producer for each member of the winning team.
